Since the actual St. Patrick’s Day is this Wednesday, March 17th – here’s a very Irish Hoboken411 Photo of the Day.
Grand Marshal of the 249th NYC Saint Patrick’s Day Parade this year is New York’s City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly photographed here with radio presenter (and Hoboken resident) Sean McCarthy of RADIOIRISH.COM

3/10/2010 Update:
Not sure how many of you have noticed the Hoboken WWII Memorial stone which has all the veterans names who’ve sacrificed their lives for the country – now has a complex and ornate metal rail surrounding it. This is to prevent those pesky skateboarders from using this sacred memorial as a “bitchin’” ramp to perform their stunts.
I can’t remember who bore the cost of this and when… anyone?

If you participated in the Live Chat of this past weekend’s St. Patrick’s Parade festivities – you would have caught this priceless photo of four hungry girls scarfing slices down on the curb in front of Uptown Pizza – and they were all wearing nearly identical Uggs boots. Not saying there’s anything wrong with this whatsoever. Just a great photo.

Hoboken411 reader Ed spotted this unfortunate Honda Accord owner parked along Castle Point Terrace near Stevens Institute. While not as bad as other Post-It note practical jokes I’ve seen, the owner who walks up to this will certainly have to spend a few minutes removing them!
