Next round of beginner’s golf lessons starts 10/15/2007. Give them a call!
Hoboken Golf was also recently featured on “The Smart Show” episode 4. The show implied it was in New York City, but we all know it’s in Hoboken. Wonder why they didn’t mention our City’s name? Anyway, I think that girl “Joan” in the video is fun. Know anyone like her?
A little tidbit about a Hoboken business serving as a backdrop for a Wall Street Journal report about golf club technology. Ed Krane was the reporter on this bit filmed over at the Hoboken Indoor Golf studio on Grand Street.
One thing I found funny about the video is, that the “high tech” square club they were touting actually got less “yardage” on the simulator than the regular club when Ed Krane hit the ball.
For those interested in taking up golf with absolutely no experience, Hoboken Golf is starting their 4 week beginner’s golf clinic on Monday, October 23rd.

We had a chance to check out Hoboken Golf this weekend.
Whether you're an avid golfer needing some practice in between rounds, or a beginner looking to branch out into the complicated world of recreational golf, this place is for you.
For starters, the owner, Ian, is a terrific and accomodating instructor. He is very knowledgeable and in-touch with what he does for a living. You can have confidence in him to give you a very decent lesson in golf.
Secondly, the place, while it does have a warehouse type appearance, serves a great purpose. To simulate or train people in golf.
Inside, you have TWO golf simulators, which can ge used either for simply playing a round, or to have more fun with, such as a bachelor party, or other kind of fun event.
They also have four driving range nets, and a nine hole mini-putt course.
Lessons are relatively cheap. $40 for a half hour and $70 for the hour. Ian is an excellent golfer with a very high skill level. You're learing from someone who is a very good teacher.
Also available are lessons outside at a real course. Hoboken Gof can also make custom clubs, repair the ones you have, etc.
Hoboken golf is a great place to go get some lessons, play a quick simulated round to keep your skills sharp, or just do something different from time to time.
