Hoboken Quick Hits – 10/4/2013
Hoboken Quick Hits – Friday, October 4, 2013
Hoboken Quick Hits is a place where various links and updates will be grouped together. Either timely announcements, event reminders, updates and other items that may have missed the production deadline. What do we have today?
Free trees, pet events, theater, and disturbing construction
- Free trees up for grabs! Halstead Property (who is in the process of moving to the old Tutta Pasta spot at 2nd & Washington), partnered with the NJ Tree Foundation to give away 200 trees here in Hoboken. You’d either get a Flowering Dogwood or an American Sycamore. Only 100 of the 200 available trees have been spoken for, and the giveaway is tomorrow. ► CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO!
- Don’t forget Bark in the Park here in Hoboken tomorrow!
- Want some old-fashioned stage entertainment? Mile Square Theatre has a new show starting tomorrow: “A Year with Frog and Toad.” It’s a “heartwarming” musical production appropriate for the entire family. $22 for adults, $12 for kids. It runs for just two weeks.
- And yes – LATE NIGHT construction at the Stevens Soccer Field is still disturbing area residents. Proof that our “mayor” cares more about PR stunts like ribbon-cuttings than she does about quality of life here in Hoboken. The complaints are mounting.
Enjoy your afternoon!
