I do not think I was being a jerk. I was not trying to hurt anyone, at least in my eyes. Just expressing myself and my beliefs about a subject I care about…. I still stand by what I said.

I think your reaction to my explanation is potentially, “being a jerk”. Anyways, no hard feelings. It’s all good.
Beamrider- Yes, I know H411 like many people in this town. Please don’t think I was crapping on his site. I was just stating my honest opinion, isn’t that what this site is built on?
I love when people get called out on being an @ss, and defend themselves with some variation of “I’m allowed to have my opinion!” There’s a difference between having an opinion and being a jerk, no?

You go to Yahoo! Finance and look up ticker KO. You see a graph of last 10 years, with peaks and valleys. IBD actually will post various graphs and point with arrows, to the peaks/valleys of when exactly to buy, sell or do nothing.) 2. The Top 100 Stocks (Quality recommendations for long haul and stand by buy – hold fundamentals. Which is Buffet’s song and dance, but with hard core ticker recommendations you can actually apply. Companies here have fundamentally sound financials.) 3. Financial Dictionary Section (Written clearly with a contact hotline 24 / 7 to just answer your fundamental questions. WSJ doesn’t stand with as much focus on education.) 4. Overall, IBD writes for the audience of the individual investor and WSJ (Wall Street) writes for the audience of global & corporate economic shifts and demographical research – which many people cannot make the best translations to their own personal lives and how those shifts translate to their own personal portfolios. A bit too much is left up to interpretation with WSJ. I read both and like both. But for different gauges. You know how it goes anyhow… You start reading IBD in Dec. ’07 – you understand 10%. You keep at it, by Dec. ’08 – you’re up to 25%. Bottom line, keep at it, stay… Read more »

Potato and Scarlett, you guys need to get a life. I cannot see any credibility on your end posting messages at the most obscure
hours while all of us are either sleeping, and enjoying life and bettering ourselves(i.e like these free events).

no one in their right mind who is savvy would attend the sessions you offer, no offense.
potatochip, aren’t you friends with H411 or something? Why would you come here and crap all over his site? What do you get out of it?
