Hoboken photo remains of the week: March 23, 2013
What Hoboken photo leftovers made the cut this week?
In the photo gallery below:
- Photos 1-3: Wow, just wow! The Hoboken Little League Field – according to inside sources, is quite possibly one of the WORST field surfaces imaginable. The city apparently bought the lowest-quality crap field (no better than the one before). The quality (from the samples we’ve seen) is atrocious. In fact, this field may actually promote injury to children. Hope that stays on Dawn Zimmer’s conscience when some kid has to use crutches for the rest of his life. Planned obsolescence? Or just inept government once again?
- Photo 4: The awning at the old Quay’s was finally removed – as Little Town New Jersey is set to raise the bar for restaurants in Hoboken.
- Photo 5: Since I have never seen an entire pig roasted in Hoboken – I traveled to one of the three Legal Beans locations in Jersey City to check it out. Legal Beans in Hoboken reopens downtown today after a long time-out after Hurricane Sandy. You want good brisket? Look no further. The pig ain’t shabby either!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Hoboken! Spring will wake up eventually!
