Some rain on the way…

11/5/2007:

Here’s a radar snapshot of the current conditions in the northeast.

Looks pretty ominous.. do any of you think this will have any impact on voting tomorrow morning?

However, according to the hourly forecast, the rain is expected to taper off by 8am, which is a good sign if you want good voter turnout. Not other rain is expected after it stops.

Campos will have a bigger turnout today because you can not landscape or work outside so all the day laborers were voting this morning.

The rain is not good for the Zimmer vote. Many of the Campos votes come in during the day.
PLEASE GET OUT AND VOTE FOR DAWN ZIMMER, IF YOU HAVE VOTED CALL SOMEONE IN THE 4TH WARD AND ASK THEM TO BE SURE TO VOTE.

An Open Letter To Fourth Ward Residents,

I beg and beseech you to please vote for Dawn Zimmer today.

This election is essentially a choice for self determination or machine politics.

If you want a councilperson who is going to vote strictly on the basis of what their political contributors or the local political machine, of which they have been a staunch member, tells them to then by all means vote for Chris Campos. He has done this for the past four years.

However, if you are tired of flooding, walking over half a mile in a city that is only one square mile to get to a park of any substantial size, or desire some form of financial transparency from the administration that runs this town and is gouging you on property taxes then vote for Dawn Zimmer.

Mr. Campos and the political machine that runs this town is counting on your complacency.

If there was ever an election where “every vote will count” this is THE ONE.

So please use your god-given right and free yourself from the shackles of machine politics and self-interested politicians and take fifteen minutes and vote for Dawn Zimmer today.

She is the ONLY choice in this election.

Sincerely,

Bri777

The polls are open in the 4th Ward. Yes, it is raining. Please don’t use it as an excuse not to vote.

Remember If you don’t vote Christopher Campos will still be paying hundres of workers today and they will vote.

Brave the rain it is worth it or make sure you can vote by 8pm tonight.
