Hoboken not kind to cars

Streets in Hoboken thrash cars daily
Last week, I coined 2013 the year of the pothole in Hoboken.
And this past weekend I witnessed a sad victim to the unforgiving streets in our city. This car, which belongs to Hoboken business eMazzanti Technologies was spotted on the NJ Turnpike – getting hauled away on a flatbed. I jokingly asked the owner Carl Mazzanti if he got towed for parking illegally. Nope – he said the brutal streets in Hoboken basically caused one of the tires to rupture and render the car un-drivable. Hope the car “gets well” soon!
If you’re considering getting a car – know in advance that low-profile tires might not be a good idea!

Such a funny video! That car looks even smaller than normal on the flatbed!
