Pat Lamb Does Standup Comedy too
Here’s today’s cartoon and commentary video from Pat Lamb.
In a departure from his usual videos, we have a recent stand up comedy night he did. He touches on Playboy magazine, Lindsay Lohan and President Obama, whom he predicts will lose this year’s election. Pat says “Obama couldn’t run a fever!”

This guy is such a moron. He’s not funny at all. What’s worse is that I can’t figure out if this guy thinks he’s funny or not. There aren’t even any jokes in there. I don’t even know what this is supposed to be. What makes it funny to me (laughing at him, not with him) is that he had to add a laugh track to the video because there was no reaction from the audience. Check the clip at 0:57, 1:51, 2:16, and 3:10 and you’ll hear the laugh track cut off. Shouldn’t the need to add a laugh track indicate to Mr. Lamb that this is not funny?
I just wish I was there to see it live, I would have found the crowd’s non-reaction along with Lamb’s stupid looking grin to be far more entertaining than any of his “material”
An old man with a low IQ looking at pictures in a NY tabloid and then stuttering through a sentence of commentary with no underlying theme or punchline is not comedy. It’s sad. It’s performances like this that give open-mics and stand-up comedy in general a bad name.
Maybe I’m missing something.
