Auto theft, or missing cat?
15th and Sinatra. Four “juveniles” (one with a red shirt.. yeah crappy description), were witnessed meddling with a car by a female complainant who believed they were trying to steal the car, or something from it.
She mentioned that they were “under the car”. The caller hung up before the HPD got the exact location of the vehicle.
The police stopped the four kids, and upon questioning, they told HPD that they were looking for a “cat”.
Is that just a cute excuse for a crime they were about to commit, or were they really concerned about a poor stray kitty?
