Gallery 1200 Exhibition features work from The Hudson School

Gallery 1200 is pleased to present an exhibition of drawings, paintings, sculpture and photographs by students and alumni of The Hudson School, April 22nd through April 29th. A closing reception for students, parents, and the public will be held Sunday, April 29th from 4pm to 7pm. Gallery 1200 is located at 1200 Washington Street.

The Hudson School’s Department of Art and Media provides a robust program of instruction in drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, and art history to students in grades 5-12. The Department of Art and Media is headed by Chairperson, Minna Packer, and distinguished faculty, Peter Ziebel and Holli Schorno.

Graduates of the Department of Art and Media have been admitted to prestigious colleges and universities, including: St. Martin’s School of Art and Design (London, UK), The Pennsylvania Academy, Pratt Institute, Parsons School of Design, School of Visual Arts, and The Cooper Union, among others.

The Hudson School provides intellectually inquisitive students in grades 5-12, with a rigorous and relevant college preparatory program that inspires independent thinking with a goal of developing compassionate, responsible, and principled citizens.
