Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day?
Valentine’s Day 2012 in Hoboken
If you’re one of those that refuse to believe in the tradition of Valentine’s Day – you’re in the wrong place. Head over here for anti-Valentine’s Day info that’s more your style!
But if you’re ready to reserve a romantic dinner with your significant other at one of Hoboken’s many bars & restaurants – then you’re in the right place!
411 Tip: Now that the Super Bowl is over – “V-Day” reservations will be booking up quick this week, so get cracking.
Below are a handful of options available next week…
Love Stinks at Mikie Squared
I love the way Mikie Squared (616 Washington St.) has a somewhat cynical approach to this obligatory holiday – but has fun at the same time.
They’re having drink specials, a DJ spinning the tunes, as well as raffles and other giveaways. Give them a shout at (201)792-0001 if you need more info.
San Giuseppe prix fixe Valentine’s Day
Hoboken’s new favorite Italian Restaurant San Giuseppe (14th & Grand) is having a Valentine’s Prix Fixe event.
A fantastic menu including an appetizer, main course and tempting dessert. And it’s BYOB too! Call (201)942-9200 to make your reservation (they have an early-bird special, too – for those that may have mistresses).

Hamilton Inn a great reason to dine outside of Hoboken
If you’re sick of seeing the same ole’ people wherever you go – The Hamilton Inn just steps away in Jersey City is an outstanding choice.
But more than just “getting out of dodge,” The Hamilton Inn’s food and atmosphere are even better reasons to take the short trip. The options aren’t limited to just February 14th, either – they actually have a Prix-Fixe WEEKEND (from Friday 2/10 through Tuesday 2/14), and it’s $55 per person.

Bin 14 – Hoboken Wine Bar Valentine’s Day
Bin 14 (1314 Washington St.) may not be Hoboken’s only “wine bar,” (places like The Turtle Club at 10th & Park also are considered wine bars), but they do have a good reputation for quality – with well known Head Chef & Owner Anthony Pino at the helm.
They have three Valentine’s Day seatings – at a cost of $65 per person (along with other specials). You ought to call (201)963-9467 sooner rather than later to make sure you can reserve a seat.

Good deal at San Giuseppes especially with the BYOB. Anyone know if Margheritas has a special menu?

Bin 14 is out of their minds. $65 for that??? Break each course down by price and tell me what’s so great about it.

I’d rather have any of these courses on another night, thanks. Somehow the idea of being stuffed into a restaurant like a sausage a la the coach section of an airplane… isn’t really appealing.
