Fund for Better Waterfront Open House

FBW Open House this weekend at Neumann Leather Building

The Fund for a Better Waterfront is a 501(c)(3) non-profit group that has been active in standing up for the Hoboken waterfront for over two decades. They claim to have had an integral part in what the Hoboken waterfront looks like today (instead of just rows of super-high rise buildings and little or no parks).

They’re having an open house this weekend (November 5th & 6th – from noon to 6pm) over at the Neumann Leather Building downtown (300 Observer Highway – 5th Floor).

You can see their large 12 foot by 4 foot model of the Hoboken waterfront, and talk about past, current and future plans with FBW board members.

Sounds interesting, especially the scale model of the waterfront. Maybe I’ll pencil it in.
