Lost Cockatiel

A reader who wishes to remain anonymous had found a bird this week.

The owner, or anyone who knows someone who lost their bird, please comment or send me an email. If no one comes forward and you want to adopt this pet (I already did one pet this week – no room for another!), please advise.

“I found a Cockatiel bird on Sunday evening abandoned on 3rd st near Clinton, near HUMC. Can you post to see if anyone lost their bird? I do not want my name and email on the web so if you could have them contact you if the owner turns up then you can email me for them and then i will contact them to arrange returning their bird, thanks. If I dont find the owner, do you know of any no kill shelters in the area? I know the ASPCA would give it a week and then euthanize it.”

There are signs up in the West Village as well, though that might be a bit far… The signs I saw were on 8th Ave. I believe, around Christopher St….

Hello,

There are many cockatiels lost in your area. Please contact http://www.911ParrotAlert.com and let them know have found this. The can give you a list of the lost cockatiels in your area.

You will make a very despondant parent very happy and most likely get a reward.
