Serenity Boutique Day of Service
Local Hoboken shop Serenity Boutique gives back to the community
New Hoboken retail store Serenity Boutique (734 Washington St.) is showing the value they bring to the community other than offering unique items for local shoppers.
They’re also giving back – by generously volunteering time & resources to help others in need, or affected by the September 11 events.
On Sunday, 9/11 – Serenity owner Jo’Ell Saeli and her wonderful staff will:
- Volunteer at the Hoboken Women’s Shelter from 9am to 11am
- Spend all afternoon at the Liberty Humane Society – lending a hand there
- They’ve also sponsored a Military family to come to the shop at 10am – and they’re donating clothing necessities to help them out.
What’s even better – is that Serenity Boutique isn’t one of the places that just follows a charitable trend for popularity points. They helped out a Children’s Hospital earlier this summer, and will be going to bat for Muscular Dystrophy this fall.
Nice to see such community involvement from Hoboken! Who needs government bailouts when you have love and unity right next door?
