Premier Soccer Shop – Moving On…

3/26/2011 Update:

Premier Soccer Shop closes doors in Hoboken, NJ

Another retail shop bites the dust in the Mile Square, as Premier Soccer Shop wrapped up their tenure on First Street recently.

Owner Marco Meneses said: “The time has come for me to move on. I’ve decided to close the soccer shop and move on to a new gig… you’ll notice the shop is closed as the website will soon be as well. I can’t really stress enough how thankful I am to everyone in Hoboken who supported me and the shop the past 4 years. I really met some great people in the town and it meant a lot to me that these folks genuinely wished me and the business all the best. It made all the difference to me personally over the past 4 years.

Keep up the good work with the site. I shall follow your breaking news from my new gig at Groupon. Check me out on twitter @GrouponDealsNYC.

Good luck with your new endeavors, Marco!

Such bs! I bought my husband a Jersey which, didn’t fit. He went back to return it and the Owner was a d*ck. He refused to order him another size and told him he could have store credit instead. This was a month ago. Thanks for the heads up db. Would have been nice to know your store credit was worthless!

The constant drumbeat of store closings is really depressing.

Far too often lots of businesses don’t heed to that rule, Buffy.

Sorry, the Philadelphia fans are here to stay.[/quote]
