Here’s something positive about St. Patrick’s Day – the Blaire Reinhard Band (based in Hoboken) – shot this spectacular video with the same title. Nice job, guys!
Reminder: March 17th is the real St. Patrick’s Day
If all the hype and hysteria of Hoboken’s Chaotic St. Patrick’s Day Parade almost two weeks ago didn’t distract you – today, March 17th, 2011 – is the Official Saint Patrick’s Day!
You might want to spend some time on www.IrishCentral.com – to catch up on everything Irish.
They also have an article about the mile square – “Out of Control” Hoboken St. Patrick’s Day faces Major Changes – where genuine Irish people comment about how disgusting the parade was (i.e., “It gives the Irish a bad name…”)
Again, it was the people that honored the following motto – that stained our annual parade for years to come:

Happy St. Patty’s day as well! I’m off to the gym, but agree that our parade just attracts people that cannot handle themselves, nor do they have respect for this city in which we live in. The only solution is to take it offline.
