Trenton, NJ St. Patrick’s Parade: no problems

3/14/2011:

Larger parade in NJ State Capital; Better behavior

The Capital of NJ is about eight times larger than Hoboken, with a population of around 85,000 residents. Each year they hold their annual parade the Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day.

Trenton’s St. Patrick’s Parade is also much bigger, with more floats and participants – as well as more attendees.

However, as Hoboken411 reader Jeff pointed out – “Why can’t Hoboken be as civilized? It seems like people are even drinking on the parade route – and behaving!”

And is that the LIRR? If so, Long Island spits out a completely different species.

I’m sorry. Please point the elderly person in the video out. I missed him/her.[quote comment=”204470″]VIDEO: I wonder if these lovely ladies would give up a seat for the elderly:
