In case you didn’t already know – the Hoboken Business Center in the southwest corner of Hoboken – started colored “tribute lights” on their building this year – to commemorate various events, holidays and causes. Last month it was red for Valentine’s Day and the American Heart Association.

HBC sets lights green for Hoboken St. Pattys Day

The Hoboken Business Center (HBC) will start to shine in green on Thursday, March 3rd at 6pm to help celebrate Hoboken’s Irish pride throughout March for St. Patrick’s Day.

The corners of Harrison Street and Observer Highway will make a celebratory green debut Thursday night to kickoff the Hoboken’s St. Patrick’s Parade and festivities taking place over the weekend.

On hand to help celebrate the lighting tribute will be Hoboken St. Patrick’s Day parade Grand Marshall, Billy Noonan; Parade Chairwoman Helen Cunning; Assemblyman Ruben Ramos Jr. and 4th Ward Councilman Timothy Occhipinti.

Immediately following the official lighting ceremony special Irish refreshments will be served in the lobby.
