Hoboken Comedy Experiment

October
10/22/2007:
All this Hoboken politics “flooding” you with boredom or frustration? Here’s a reason to drink and be happy. 8:30 tonight at Gold Hawk is another installment of the Hoboken Comedy Experiment featuring Chris Deluca and Adam Wade (plus other guests).
The show is free and features Hoboken and NYC’s best comics.
Performing this week:
- Mike Birch (Onion News Network)
- Dan Allen (Comedy Central)
- Giulia Rozzi (Huffington Post)
- Jed Teres (Magnet Theater, NYC)
- Josh Comers (Late, Late Show)
Susie Felber will be Live-Blogging the event again.
My usual tagline: “As with any experiments, there is some risk. In this case, if the experiment succeeds, you will laugh and have a great time. If it fails, you will choke to death on your own vomit.”
At the GoldHawk.

I have been to a few of Adam’s shows and they are great.
Timber, some people like like Adam’s dry sense of humor. Just because you don’t, doesn’t mean he is not funny or whiney.

Whether you hear of or don’t hear of a comic, got to give them credit for trying to work their way up. even seinfeld started at the bottom.
kudos for publicizing this.

Comedian tells joke, and sips from water bottle, comedian looks down at lady in front row and asks her where she is from…lady is shy but says hoboken — comedian has no come back

C’mon, i’m sure these guys are decent…but “..Hoboken & NYC’s best comics” as H411 claims?? If that were the case I doubt they’d be performing at the Goldhawk on a Monday nite.

While maybe not the BEST comics, it was entertaining. For those who like to see people working on their craft this is very interesting. I applaud their efforts. Most people can’t stand speaking in front of people, try doing it with material you’ve never used before and are hoping for a laugh. Some works, some doesn’t, but the comics moved on. I’d go again.
