Ice Road Trucker visits Hoboken!

Want to see Alex Debogorski, and the longest tractor in America? Then stop by the Wiley Building tomorrow, Friday October 22nd from 12-1pm!

Longest 5th-wheel tractor makes Hoboken pitstop

Alex Debogorski, the star of the History Channel’s number one rated show “Ice Road Truckers,” will be traveling coast to coast in the mother of all tours for his first book, “KING OF THE ROAD: True Tales from a Legendary Ice Road Trucker” from Wiley.

The tour kicks off at Wiley’s Hoboken, NJ, headquarters on Friday, October 22 and is scheduled to make over 20 stops around the nation, including New York, Austin, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Alex will be making the trip behind the wheel of Big Red, the longest fifth wheel tractor in the United States.

The tractor with the trailer is 93 feet from bumper to bumper. The truck will be “wrapped” with a giant image of the book cover. At each stop, fans will be able to meet Alex, get a signed copy of his book and take photos of the truck.

OT – Wish I had a video camera handy back in 1995 when I saw the OSCAR MAYER WIENERMOBILE (yes, really) trying to make the turn from Park onto 4th late one Saturday night
