Mayor Zimmer receives achievement award

Roads worse than ever; Mayor, City Hall recognized

We can’t talk about the horrific state of Hoboken roads enough. Drive anywhere else in the state, and when you come back to Hoboken, your internal organs get rattled to no end. One Hoboken411 reader, who speaks on behalf of many residents decided it was time to recognize the complete lack of action – and misdirection of priorities in the Mile Square:

“I am a Hoboken resident who supported our current Mayor during the last elections. It’s been over a year since she came into office and the state of Hoboken roads stays beyond pathetic. I’m sure the mayor & the city council will come up with excuses after excuses as why they can’t do this or that. For me it’s simple – It’s a shame that after paying the taxes we do, the most basic needs of this town are not addressed.

I pray to god that no one gets hurt driving on these roads.

I would like to present this certificate to Mayor Zimmer and our City Council.”

Regards,
Hoboken Resident (Who speaks on behalf of many more)

The only other town in NJ I’ve encountered with roads as bad as Hoboken is Asbury Park.

I clench my teeth every time I drive in town. Really is bad all over, not just uptown.
