Hoboken Snow Scenes 2/10/2010

2/10/2010:

OK, here are some obligatory snow photos from our current “Blizzard” of February 10, 2010.

People survived, amazing!

Here’s a few shots I took this morning after leaving Starbucks with a piping hot of strong coffee (which I eventually dropped the minute I was about to enjoy it). Believe it or not, people, cars, pets, babies and more were out and about! It wasn’t a catastrophe at all!

Well, except for Panera Bread, who felt it was too dangerous to open today. Wah Wahhhh.

The streets didn’t cave in (yet)

Hoboken411 reader John M. sent in a few standard “street shots” from various areas in town. You gotta love the way it transforms the landscape, eh?

I saw at least three people with punters decide that even a few snowflakes means that the pick up poop laws don’t apply to them and their tootsie roll droppers in the event of a dusting of snow.

The front of my building was mined by a punter.
