If you’re the type of person that either has trouble with effective public speaking, or thinks it’s time to brush up on your skills – the Mile Square Toastmasters Club may be just what you need!
A fun & helpful social club…
Active in Hoboken for over a dozen years, the club (part of the Toastmasters International non-profit organization) meets at 7:30pm each Monday (except holidays) in the auditorium of The Hudson School at 6th and Park Avenue. Typical sessions involve both impromptu and prepared speaking exercises, plus reviews and evaluations. Participation isn’t mandatory (you can observe), but the point of the club is to help you with you public speaking skills! They also have monthly social gatherings at The Farside Bar at 531 Washington Street.
There’s a one-time lifetime membership fee of $20, plus bi-annual dues of approximately $55.
