Afternoon happenings in Hoboken…

A couple tidbits for this afternoon…

Non-emergency ‘copter landing at Pier A Park

Hoboken411 reader Pete caught this helicopter landing at Pier A Park this afternoon, and wondered what emergency was taking place. When he saw the film crew, realized it was something else. Wonder what it could have been? A high-budget commercial for some out-of-money Hoboken entity?

Wear a helmet when walking in Hoboken

And reported moments ago on the Hoboken411 Live Police and Fire Action Channel – “A group of kids hurling rocks at passing cars AND pedestrians near 6th and Jackson streets.” But of course, when the PoPo arrived, “nothing showing” and the alleged future major league baseball pitchers of America had fled the scene.

Maybe we need more of police presence in town to prevent these occurrences? Seems like even more of a waste of time to have an officer respond and find nothing each and every time.
