Subway {doomed in Midtown Hoboken}

Midtown Subway goes off-track in Hoboken

Like it or not, more people are understanding what “healthy” is – and bread-based sandwiches are losing ground.

Subway appears to have closed up at 418 Washington. Late last week the sign was removed. The downtown Subway remains, however.

Some people believe they “expanded” too fast instead of being adept with their menu (which remained the same for decades). The sheer number of locations close to each other cannibalized sales.

Plus many people are trending towards places like Chipotle (for supposed cleaner food) and Panera (who did change with the times).

Who knows – eating at a chain just sucks ass in general. Preparing your own foods, soups and meals is so much more satisfying, cheaper and healthier. Just takes an ounce of planning and cooking skill.

See this video with some bimbos talking like they have any idea of how the world works:

The midtown Jared Sandwich shop is currently being renovated. Had to get this photo I took last week out of the queue. If anyone sees it open again, let us know.
