Added to the problems of parking, and offensive driving, which are already being addressed by our short handed police department was road rage, and the proper use of reflective clothing when joggers run at dawn and dusk. Canine issues were
again brought up, as well as problem intersections and noise pollution. Robberies are down, and house safety and better lighting, as a deterrent for criminals was again mentioned.

A few members of the public spoke up and Chief Falco again reiterated that “his” police are professional, courteous to the public, and short-handed by the budget.

They are always busy, but this month maybe moreso. Halloween is on a Saturday, which follows Friday night, and jaywalkers are still in abundance, as well as cell phone users while they drive, and walk.

God Bless OUR COPS and FIREMEN!
