UPDATE:
“Thanks again for posting so quickly. It turns out that an incredibly decent guy, Al Stone, who works for Hudson County Parks and Recreation found the wallet during the course of his duties, and called my wife when he got home from work!”

A Hoboken411 reader emailed me shortly ago saying his wife lost a black wallet/purse type thing somewhere between Shoprite and Columbus Park. If you find it, please email hoboken411@gmail.com. A reward will be given, along with redemption from the man above.

Update: Wallet found and returned by Hudson County Parks employee. Big ups to Al Stone for his honesty:

Why do women spend that kind of money on a black bag? I can get the same one at target for under 10 bucks I bet.

The above bag is a Gucci pochette clutch, and it has been discontinued for a few years i do believe. Target is not authorized to carry the line and if you buy one out of a trunk in target’s parking lot, i assure you it is not real. I can name 1000 reasons why a gal wants that IT bag but i’ll refrain and keep this short. I once sold a bag for 81k. It was 2 years ago when I had a shoppe share in Soho on Mercer St at Prince St. It all comes down to exclusiveness. Some women like my mom spend $12 at kmart and use same bag for 14 years and some women spend 1200 on a bag and use it for 14 days and get another. it is all about style, grace and exclusiveness. And if your lady trys to “warm me up” to get a deal, it will not work. I get warmed up 4,489,602 times a year, it stops working after the 3rd try on January 1st

I lost my wallet near 10th and willow. It’s either in a Hoboken Taxi or on the ground near 10th and willow. If you find it please send me a message!

Shows how much you know. Coach is suiing Target for stealing their designs and you can’t tell the difference between the real and fake bags. It’s all over the news!!! HA HA HA HA HA

LOST IN A CAB:
I lost my Chanel wallet yesterday in a Hoboken Cab, around 8pm on 12/1/2009. Attached is a picture I found online of the same wallet, except mine is gray not gold

Hi,
I found my wallet, it was a miracle! I basically sat at the taxi stand with the newly appointed Taxi guy who manages the line and he was very helpful by allowing me to peek into every taxi that pulled up until I identified the driver. He then asked the driver on my behalf if he found a wallet. The Taxi driver still had my wallet and returned it with everything that was in it.

Based on the way this all is couched I assume there was inadequate ID in the wallet or something. All’s well that ends well.

They had a name: “Andrew Jackson” but no address or phone.

I will keep my eyes peeled for sure, I am a CHANEL FREAK as you all know
If someone comes in with this I now know. I would check craigslist and ebay as if someone wanted to be cruel and sell it, this is where they will go. I have alerted my fellow consignment shops in the tri state area to be on the look out as well. Perry, tell the gal I have many friends at Chanel and can have this replaced at 50 off. Would be my pay it forward for the week and I’d be happy to help out here
