First annual festival featuring Stevens students

DeBaun Center for Performing Arts, in conjunction with Stevens Dramatic Society, is proud to present the first annual Stevens One Act Festival which runs for one weekend on September 11 & 12, 2009 at DeBaun Auditorium, 5th & Hudson Sts. in Hoboken, NJ. The Stevens One Act Festival begins the Theater Series of DeBaun Center and is the opener for its 2009–2010 Season.

The Stevens One Act Festival features the original works of Stevens students, faculty and alumni, performed by Stevens students. This year’s productions are all never-before-seen plays which will captivate everyone coming to this evening of theatrical works. The plays include: Lucky by Anthony Pennino, directed by Anthony Pennino; Tale of Prince Charming by Andrew Graspas, directed by Cassidy DeSchryver; A Study in Misunderstanding by Tedd Mullally, directed by David Zimmerman; and, Imperfect Cadence by Will Estes, directed by Will Estes.

David Zimmerman, Executive Director of DeBaun Center for Performing Arts, suggested the One Act Festival at Stevens because “there’s a lot of theatrical talent at Stevens that is usually not seen by the general public. That is why we created the Stevens One Act Festival to specifically focus on Stevens students, faculty and alumni.”
