Please DVR Glenn Beck on FOX

7/14/2009:

Is he too “Right” – or “Really” right?

No matter what your political affiliation – I’d recommend that you watch (or DVR) Glenn Beck on FOX News every weekday (5pm – repeats at 2am).

Glenn may be an animated news host, with what some may consider a radically “right” perspective – I feel that his viewpoints (at the very least) should at least give you the opportunity to ask “Why?”

His show seems to be the last show on TV that actually has the balls to criticize the Federal Government (which is why is show is on during “non-primetime”) – but thanks to our faithful DVR’s – you can watch anytime you want.

Here are a couple videos. One – his opening statement yesterday – and more about the ridiculous A**-kissing Sontomayor is getting this week. (Please watch the first video at the very least, and share your thoughts… the second video shows how they buttered up Sontomayor…)

If you don’t think there a *some* problems with our country – (comments omitted).

I think Glenn Beck is hysterical every time he cries. So, I am laughing a lot these days. What a sissy.

I think it’s even funnier when one of these senior citizen townhall protesters stand up and start biatching about socialized healthcare when they collect a social security check and make an appointment with their doctor paid for by Medi(socialist)care.

I’m still waiting for someone to explain to me how rationing of care from a for profit company, decided by a profit margin motivated bureaucrat is better than the same from a government bureaucrat.

At least the presence of a public option would force the private companies to cut the fat and keep costs low to compete. Right now, it’s practically a cartel.

I took your advice and watched a few of Beck’s shows and videos on YouTube. He seems to be way into scare tactics and employs the “I’m right because I said I’m right” style of argument. He’s emotionally unstable and cries and screams and shudders at the drop of a hat. All drama queenie.

From what I saw, Beck seems to be focused on the fears of middle aged white males steeped in Main Steet and Apple Pie and who have all of a sudden discovered that the world has passed them by and has changed forever. I think he feeds their cultural and racial anxieties by whipping and frothing them into the “birther” and anti-health care mobs, never quite understanding or realizing that they are a declining percentage of the electorate.

If he were just a little smarter I say he’d be dangerous. Fuggly lookin’, too.

Anyway, that’s my two cents on old Glenn Beck.

WTF is this supposed to mean exactly? If you were any dumber, you’d be dangerous.

$23 trillion dollars for unemployment in the teens, hyperinflation and devaluation of the U.S. Dollar – damage our enemies only wished they were capable of before, but from within…

The Honda Civic had been a best seller before the gas hike. That’s not the only reason more efficient products sell. But yeah, it forced people to reconsider.

I bought my 2006 in 2005, well before this stuff. Escalades are nice, hummers look rough, but living in Hoboken and working in NYC gave me no need for them. If I were a rancher, wouldn’t matter if gas was $10/gallon – don’t think I could do anything with a Civic past the first ravine.

Anyone reading Drudge Report right now?

Yes.

$2,531,600 for “ham, water added, cooked, frozen, sliced, 2lb…”

“Stimulus” money. Or quite literally: “porkulus money”
