Readerpix: Mystery Truck
Hoboken411 reader Todd sent in this picture of what appears to be a city vehicle constantly parked on streets meant for residents. (I swear there was a previous post about this at some point – but cannot locate it!)
Hoboken411 reader photo of the day – 5/6/2009
“Parked on the corner of 12th and Clinton there is what resembles a moving truck that hasn’t moved in like 2 months. Occasionally it disappears for a few days but it always returns to the same spot. I’ve checked all over the thing but I can’t for the life of me find a parking sticker. I don’t even see a parking ticket on the windshield!! Since when did Hoboken allow over sized trucks to park legally in town within the green, resident only parking spots??
PS, I went back and checked it again this morning and it does have municipal plates, but still… Why is that truck allowed to park there? And those plates are the old sky blue NJ plates too!”
[Stay tuned for tomorrow’s Readerpix entry! – Note: one reader’s photo(s) will be featured each day at approximately 11am. Unless your photo is time-sensitive – it will be published in the order it was received! Additional note: Your pictures will have a better chance of being published if they’re in “landscape” mode, as opposed to the taller “portrait” modes… ]
