The movie was Amadeus. The “r” rated version showing naked man butt and cursing.

Raia’s majority board needs to go. It’s time to focus on the kids and their education.

Is this really true? Which R-rate movie was shown? The suspense is killing me! Do I have to file an OPRA request to know?

When I was 10, our music teacher played the piano and we sang along, reading words off the overhead projector. We kids thought it was lame, but mostly, we had fun singing. Later, that same year I started trumpet lessons. THAT is music class. There has to be a modern equivalent. Coloring? Watching the same movie over and over? That is “parking” the kids.

This is exactly why we need a whole new mindset on the board. This teacher sounds terrible. He’s killing these kids spirits. JR would never put up with this type of behavior in his kids private school.

This teacher is also VERY immature. If he has an issue with a parent, discuss it with the parent adult to adult. That’s just being mean to pull a kid out of class, to complain to them about their parent, what a wimp!. If the local board won’t intervene, what about the county or state. We don’t need people like that in the classroom.

We need the whole Kids First Slate to win!.

I’m shocked that 9 year olds see R-rated movies in class as part of their curriculum!?! There must be better supervision of teachers–aren’t his weekly lesson plans reviewed by one of the many administrators in the district? I have to think that new faces on the Board of Ed could bring some refreshing transparency to the schools. And put an end to the cronyism that’s rampant in the district.
