Romeo and Juliet at Hudson School


Cory Bernstein, 8th Grade Student and aspiring actor at The Hudson School (6th & Park), wanted all of you to know that their production of “Romeo and Juliet” starts this weekend!

Performance Dates & Times

  • Saturday, March 28th – 8pm
  • Sunday, March 29th – 5pm
  • Thursday, April 2nd – 7pm
  • Friday, April 3rd – 8pm
  • Saturday, April 4th – 8pm

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. The performance is located in the Hudson School Performance Space at 601 Park Avenue (Park & 6th). Tickets can be reserved via telephone: 201-659-8335 x317

I heard its an updated localized version where the daughter of Bernie Kenny has a forbidden affair with one of Anthony Russo’s sons. Of course while it does away with the problems of understanding that pesky olde English you’ll still need a local to translate dialogue such as “the package”, “that thing”, “that guy”, “pothole”, “a friend”, “the gift I sent”, “send a message”…
