A week in the life of: Mooshu!

3/9/2009:

Taking the place of today’s “Readerpix” entry is another installment of “A week in the life of a Hoboken resident.”

As you might remember a while ago, I suggested a new community contribution series on Hoboken411. The premise was I’d give a digital camera to a resident for a week – and have them snap photos of typical places they go, eat, drive, commute or play. The first entry was last month from Sarah – and today’s entry from 411 reader “mooshu” – is essentially a day in the life – as they snapped random shots of the Mile Square during this past weekend’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Who gets the camera next?

A St. Patrick’s (day) in the life

This will be my final comment on this thread :

Just wanted to thank 411 for putting this video together so amazingly– I’ve had about the shittiest morning and have finally had a chance to view it.

Needless to say, the organization and creativity behind this montage has made the rest of my day. Thank you ❗

[quote comment=”141863″]I found the music kind of ironic… when it mentioned black youth, since not one photo had any.

Thanks.

I’m gonna be honest– I saw one African-American couple on Willow (where my battery ran out), but the two were not dressed in green nor in party mode. And they looked like they were speedily headed for the city (probably ’cause they weren’t having Saturday’s b.s.).
