Hoboken Photos of the Day – 2/4/2009

Was out and about yesterday, visiting many various Hoboken destinations – and noticed that the town was curiously absent of people. It wasn’t like it was heavily snowing or too dangerous to move about.

While we all know most residents (or should I say “many?”) were likely working, the streets of Hoboken were noticeably light. Is this the sign of the economy? Or just thin-skinned residents?

It was freezing cold and precipitating. I’d be surprised if there wasn’t less foot traffic.

I’ve noticed the opposite — more people around during working hours on the weekday than there used to be before I got laid off.

Wow. That’s a great shot. What a ghost town!

I’ve noticed the same, just an overall dwindling of foot-traffic in town… regardless of the weather (snow, sun, etc.,). It’s been eerily quiet on some days. Hibernation?
