Hoboken High School EMT Feature

The Hoboken High School Emergency Response Team was featured on WABC-TV this past weekend.

If you missed the segment which featured the great Hoboken students who participate in this “zero hour” elective (it’s outside of school hours) – well here’s your chance!!

kal-el – HHS has such a neg rep – how can you put politics aside here?! The middle school admin’s are pushing for St. Dom Tours, Hob Cath Tours, Hi Tech Tours – Their own administ. are not supporting HHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is incredulous!

Yes, strand tramp – i knew about Robert’s plan for a new HS – Ridiculous as the current school I believe can hold thousands! Not sure what it is currently servicing I think I recall the super stating that 800 would be a stretch in forcasting future numbers.

are these things that would not happen if we were not paying $25k per student per year including kindergarten? and Concerned, how did you find te school building? do you know that it was built for a capacity 3X what it is now servicing, but that 2yrs ago Roberts wanted to build an entirely NEW high school? that was about the time that Raia joined the BofE. amazing right? i would be hard pressed to find a single corner of hoboken that roberts hasn’t tried to steal/sell/corrupt or have a ribbon cutting for. i mean, he even did something stupid at Cybil’s cave, which nobody has cared about for 80yrs. this guy is amazing! he has probably F’d over hoboken more in the last 3yrs, than the other corrupt pols have done in the previous 25!
I took a tour of HHS and was happily surprised at the student body – very well manner, very intelligent and excited about life in general. All qualities that exist in blue ribbon schools – Don’t forget folks, Bayonne has blue ribbon status and is only a hop skip and jump from hoboken. If the super would actually put in the time and do his job Hoboken too could be Blue Ribbon – But then again this would mean that the yuppies might actually stay – and God Forbid – they might actually press him on getting fully certified instead of dancing around it, visiting dual language schools instead of visiting Connors and fixing the problems that exist – And that would also mean that old hoboken might be out of jobs and possibly in prison.

Good for these kids such positive role models!!! The Boe might want to acknoweledge their accomplishments here and dedication. Jack acknoweldged the football team…

Way to go kids!!!:)
Why would you turn such a positive thing into a political thing ? There isnt enough politics on here ?

On another note i think these kids are HEROS & i LOVE to see things like this….Thanks guys and keep up the good work..
