Readerpix: Disabled Police?

12/19/2008:

A “Double Dose” of Readerpix today!

An anonymous Hoboken411 reader sent in a picture that also gets lopped into the “City Offender Zone” category today!

Hoboken411 reader photo of the day – 12/19/2008

“Taken with camera phone. Uptown RiteAid 12.12.08 130pm Car 132 Plate MG5771. Plenty of parking spots available. Saw 2 Cops saunter out of the store with shopping bags. Did not appear to be responding to an emergency call.

Judge for yourself.”

[Stay tuned for tomorrow’s Readerpix entry! – Note: one reader’s photo(s) will be featured each day at approximately 11am. Unless your photo is time-sensitive – it will be published in the order it was received! Additional note: Your pictures will have a better chance of being published if they’re in “landscape” mode, as opposed to the taller “portrait” modes… ]

You have to be slightly retarded to be a Hoboken Police Officer. Doesn’t retardation count as a handicap anymore?

I’m still wondering what type of equipment our police and fire departments use? Especially with pick-a-boo tickets….apparently video’s everywhere. My question is what other security equipment are they using? What about these apparent toy lasors…the general public is only allowed to purchase lasers with a limit 1mw-5mw. But they sell 600 mw green laser pointers on line. Is there a law on the books? What about UV Ultra violet optics..or infra red xray stuff? If this gets in the hands of the wrong people it could be dangerous. Any law on the books for this? Do our police use “Stun-guns”? Is there a law on the books for this? I realize that fire enforcement need the ultra violet stuff for fires to see in smokey areas. Its just it shouldnt be used by bad people or pervs 😕

Those officers would have their ticket books out in half a second if they saw one of us park there without a handicapped pass.
You know what is awesome? The fact that Shoprite has Expecting Mothers spots. Love that.
I don’t park in the Shop Rite Expecting Mothers spots because I don’t want to get pregnant.

Exactly, Litteredboken:- Action required – notify superiors. There are only a few police officers that behave improperly. The ones that do must be held accountable. When furnished with the date and time of this incident, proper action can be taken, even if it is only a first warning or reprimand to start the disciplinary paper trail for effectiveness.
