Lost engagement ring!

12/16/2008:

What is it about the Christmas season? Everyone so busy that they’re losing things?

Anyway, a Hoboken411 reader lost her engagement ring this past Friday. She said the only places she had been that day were the areas of ShopRite and 8th Street between Willow and Grand. If you found this and want to be kind enough to return in – just email Hoboken411@gmail.com, and I’ll put you in touch with the owner.

Fa la la la la – try not losing stuff!

I always recommend saying a prayer…works wonders to find stuff I’ve lost around the house

Hopefully she finds it. But thats why i allways say slow down when shopping for the holidays , sometimes we are going so so fast we can forget our heads. I allways say if one store don’t have what where looking for, then try another, then there’s allways the internet..It’s a sickning feeling to loose something like that.We just need to slow down , write down what your looking for a head of time, know what your going out for. Simple little suggestions can go a long way. And when your on those long lines or full isles remember patience and the serenity prayer. And all will go well.

Hopefully the owners were diligent enough to get it appraisd right after it was purchased and add the ring to their homeowner’s insurance policy right away.

I don’t know Sidd. It’s plausible. Depending on the reconnaissance skills of the dude, an engagement ring can be the right (finger) size, or too loose and in need of a permanent resizing. If the person who lost it had a loose fit, it could easily dislodge from the finger while carrying bags of groceries – which would be painful enough and not notice something slipping. She should check the grocery bags, food packaging/vegi bags, etc. Also, she should check her purse. Other than that, she should be walking back and forth along her route.

BTW, Hoboken411 should remove the location of where the ring could be because there are jerks in the world who’ll look for it for their own benefit. Don’t forget it’s that season where people take stuff belonging to others. Just say an engagement ring was lost midtown and to contact Hoboken411.

Losing the ring inside her apartment I can see. Losing the ring outside her apartment sounds a little fishy if she weren’t going to the gym.
