Readerpix: Fall Foliage
09
November
11/9/2008:
Before all the leaves fall off - One Hoboken411 reader (Steve) sent in this picture near Shoprite that inspired him a bit.
Hoboken411 reader photo of the day - 11/9/2008
“This time of year, even Shoprite can almost look picturesque. It was nicer yesterday when the sun was out a little, but unfortunately I didn’t have my camera (Nikon Coolpix 885 - not state of the art, but who cares?) with me.”

[Stay tuned for tomorrow’s Readerpix entry! - Note: one reader’s photo(s) will be featured each day at approximately 11am (give or take an hour or two). Unless your photo is time-sensitive - it will be published in the order it was received!]

It’s all good– I really like the shot. The foliage in Hoboken is especially beautiful, this year.
We should dedicate a whole section to seasonal images :: hint, hint::.

See, that “park” at Shop Rite is useful, after all.

Park?

Yes, park. And you know what? This outstanding park is SO spacious that the City Hall cheerleaders measure it in ACRES - all 0.2 of them.

Hobojoe, you should go play in it.
411, a LOT of leaves have fallen down uptown. But since most people aren’t control-freakishly raking them, Bloomfield, Garden streets look especially nice
