Readerpix: New Giants Stadium
Just like last week – when a very cool aerial photo of the new Yankee Stadium was published on Hoboken411 – reader Brad sent in a photo of the old and new Giants Stadium – in East Rutherford, NJ.

Speaking of Giants Stadium – did you know that you can…
Take the train to the game!
NJ Transit recently announced that they have a new bus route from the Secaucus Junction to the Meadowlands. You can easily pick up a train from downtown Hoboken directly to Secaucus.
At that point – a simple 10 minute connecting bus ride will whisk you to the stadium or arena. Buses will be available for any major sporting event, concert or fair. Multiple buses will be made available to handle large crowds.
Well, if you’re a monthly rider – the round trip bus ride from the Secaucus Junction is only $3.50 – Otherwise, you’ll need train fare from Hoboken as well – which is another $4.50 ($8 bucks round trip is a bargain!) The ticket windows and machines are equipped to sell these round-trip combo tickets. See NJ Transit for more info about this new feature.
New York City residents can also access either a direct bus to the stadium – or take the rail/bus combo for $10 round trip.
Next year, the bus will no longer be needed, as NJT is building a new rail station in the Meadowlands (but you still would have to transfer in Secaucus.)
[Stay tuned for tomorrow’s Readerpix entry! – Note: one reader’s photo(s) will be featured each day at approximately 11am. Unless your photo is time-sensitive – it will be published in the order it was received!]
