Where is this Litterbug sign?

9/26/2008:

No one got the answers correct in the last “Where is this?” contest – you could have even won a free “Hoboken Baseball” T-shirt!

Oh well, I guess it was too difficult.

Today’s “where is this sign” entry is a simple one. There are not more than a couple of these Litterbug signs around Hoboken. Where do you think this one is?

That used to be a car wash ” and may i say in the perfect location” the other brother has the store next door . Every once in a while he’ll get some good stuff, i think he get’s the stuff in bulk from NEW YORK. The other brother said he got to old to run the car wash , so he just keeps stuff inside and try’s to sell it.

The two older guys (brothers) who own that lot where the sign hangs have garage sales almost every day — they must just pick up crap in bulk & try to sell it. they’re out there every day…yet I’ve never seen a single person buying anything.

Is it effective? Is the area clean around it? If so, where can I get one of these signs?

I don’t think people read signs, but I really don’t know. What I know is that people throw trash (including cigarette buts, yes, folks you are littering when you do that) on the ground constantly all over Hoboken. I don’t get it.
