Recent Hoboken lost and found

Two entries today (catching up). For both found items please email Hoboken411@gmail.com if you believe one of these are yours. Be as specific as possible:
Motorola SkyTel “Talk/About”
First, a lost Motorola Skytel “Talk/About” found on a bench at Sinatra Park (had a phone number on the back).
Set of Keys
Next, at Elysian Park dog run. On one of the benches (specify which one), a set of keys with a “tag/keychain.” Say how many keys, and what the key-tag said on it.
Hope the owners find what they mis-placed!

What is the best method for returning a found drivers liscence?
Drop in the mail or Police?
I found a NJ drivers liscence, female from Dumont born in 1970.

put it in an envelope and send it to her, you have the name and address

Turn it in to the police.
If you drop it into the mail and the actual person doesn’t live at the same address anymore, and say that new resident is a bad person, who’s to say they won’t sell the driver’s license to someone else who’s up to no good. Could even possible open credit accounts in that person’s name.
I wonder if turning it in to the DMV would be an option. I don’t know if they would notify the owner.

Drop the name and state into a Zabasearch. Most times you get a phone number.

I lost a set of keys……house/car/car scanner/house scanner, etc. I lost them thirsday between 3rd and 2nd on River street. Near chase bank. thanks.

this may help, but most likely Ill never get them back…..but I had a cowboy hat on the keys…not the team cowboys….an actual cowboy hat on the set of keys LOL. Im so suprised no one turned them in…..it had a building scanner on them also a ford key…. we went to the post office,town hall, police, ford, bank, and applied co……nothing…
what would someone do with another persons keys?
