Thursday: Free skin cancer screenings
If you’re home from work, or heading in late this Thursday, June 26th, be sure to swing by the uptown RiteAid for a free skin cancer screening!
The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Road to Healthy Skin Tour presented by AVEENO® and Rite Aid will be stopping in Hoboken in the Tour’s 38-foot customized RV to offerfree full body skin cancer screenings to the public. A local Hoboken board-certified dermatologist will donate their time and will be offering free screenings to the public.

Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States, with more than 1 million cases diagnosed annually across the country. Skin cancer is also the most preventable and curable form of cancer if it is detected early. The Tour will visit more than 50 cities at 100 different locations across the country to educate people about the importance of an annual skin check with their doctor, and get the message out that it is crucial for everyone, no matter their skin color, to practice sun safety.
