OMG! Body at Pier A Park!

Body at Pier A Park in Hoboken, NJ

Oh my God! Did you see that body down at Pier A Park?

OMG body at Pier A Park Hoboken NJ

Yeah, well – it was just a bum laying down in the middle of the grass.

WTF is up with that? How come you never see scenes like this on tourism fliers for Hoboken? Because you’re pretty much guaranteed to see something similar nine times out of 10.

But the city would rather be vigilant about the dogs in this city than other more pressing problems. Oh well.

The admin is palpably negligent of the safety of dog runs. Their negligent though, I agree with is exceeded by their hatred for dogs , with the one exception of pandering to friends of and a small demographic. with these you will find their smallest of children inside dog runs with carriages no less. This is extremely dangerous. Also you will find their dogs inside gated children areas and off-leash through out town.

Better the guy be lying there soaking up the fresh air and sunshine than those goose (pooping all over it) be the only beings using it . . . parks are supposed to be enjoyed by people, not just as background for selfies, but actually used as places to go, sit (or lay down) on the grass and relax. So I am happy to see someone using the park as intended. On a related note, maybe we should allow the significant dog population of Hoboken a free pass off leash to do what comes naturally regarding those geese. But as you pointed out, since there is no dog run at that park, I guess they’d be outlawed there.
