More people = expanding hair salon

I guess it makes sense as 1000’s of new condos get developed that we have a proportionate amount of places to get our hair styled.
Opening up soon next to Molfetta Pizza uptown is yet another hair salon an expanded version of Hair Cult.

This is actually just an extension of Hair Cult that is two doors down…

Duh, I didn’t even put 2+2 together.. I should have known when someone was inside with the shutter closed!
It’s great that a business can expand when others are going out of business!

This is a good salon that I actually go to and their prices are pretty reasonable for the NY/Hoboken area. You even get a nice neck massage when you sit down…

I graduated high school with the owner of Hair Cult. I also graduated high school with the owner of Sereine.

that’s fascinating.

I’m glad you find that fascinating StrandTramp. I’ll sleep much better now.

and this high school you “graduated”…HHS?
9. dawnrose | May 19th, 2008 at 4:24 pm
I am not a graduate of Hoboken High School.
10. dawnrose | May 19th, 2008 at 5:31 pm
StrandTramp: I did not graduate Hoboken High School. I am not from Hoboken. I was however born and raised in Hudson County. I find your contempt for the people who were born and raised here offensive. Why would you want to live in a town where you feel people are beneath you? Why don’t you just go back where you came from? Those of us who have made Hoboken our home and aren’t only passing through want I’m better than everyone else self-entitled people like you around as much as you want to be here.

Was the above fact about you NOT graduating from HHS so important that it needed repeating?
Me thinks not.

Subject: Salon, not personal attacks.

Well. . .since the subject is the salon, I would recommend anyone reading this thread to go to any salon other than Hair Cult. I did not enjoy the color the owner did to my hair, nor the attitude I received from the owner when I came back in for her to correct it.
If you click the link that I provided above, you’ll see that many people share my view that this salon is worth skipping.
For a good salon experience, try Bangz - I recommend Trish, Heather or Sherri for color (all 3 have colored my hair). Sherri and Heather have both done nice cuts on my hair.

Skip this salon all together. They are super rude to their staff and don’t know how to color hair properly. Go see Andrea at Imago Beauty Group. She is there tues-sat, does a great job and knows what she is doing. She used to be at Bangz and switched over to Image a few yrs ago.
