Red Bull takes over Hoboken

Prediction: More street fights than usual in Hoboken tonight.
At least eight Red Bull Mini-Coopers were spotted at several places in town, honking, and acting exactly like they’re paid to act. Hyper and fired up.
Hoboken411 reader Michael (who submitted the pic below) said “Just noticed a bunch of hyperactive pushers passing out free Red Bull to some caffeine junkies downtown.”
I think the stuff tastes horrible. Why do so many people love it? Blech!

I saw these annoying things in their little parade around mid-afternoon. The first few made it through a green light turning right onto Washington. The last couple didn’t, but they didn’t stop either and just continued their little parade through the red light. Then I heard a police siren, expected their little show to end, only to realize that the siren came from one of their cars. Don’t know how they get away with it.

YES! YES! FUCKING A!!! Cops have 5 of them pulled over at 4 th and Wash and they are pissed.
I just watched one of Hoboken’s finest give a major verbal education to a goofy little marketing bimbo about the propriety of driving around in mobs at nearly 11 at night honking like maniacs.
They are on their way out of town. EXCELLENT job, Hoboken PD!!!

i never used to buy red bull, but i started buying it more once our local soccer team got bought by red bull. marketing at it’s best (or worst), i agree.
FWIW, red bull doesnt really give me any energy.. monster usually does the trick , though.
