Hoboken Social Sandbox Events
Bored? Let Hoboken Social Sandbox help
Here’s a spring update for the Hoboken Social Sandbox – A group that holds events all year long, and is a great place to meet other local residents (especially if you recently moved to town).
“The purpose of the group is to provide a venue where you can meet new people in a friendly atmosphere while exploring new venues in Hoboken. Events include happy hours, bike rides, hiking, fundraisers, sporting events, kayaking, picnics, wine and beer tastings, and much more…”
They have a couple events going on this week (click image below for full-sized version).
- TONIGHT from 7pm to 10m is “Wine and Design Girl’s Night Out” at Clinton Social (7th & Clinton). Make your own jewelry charms while chugging $6 glasses of wine.
- Then on Thursday, April 2nd from 6pm to 9pm is “Hops & Scotch,” a three-course dinner with beer & whisky “pairing” at Black Bear (205 Washington). Advance tickets are $50 a person, or $60 at the door. Call (201)656-5511 to sign up. $5 gets donated to the Hoboken Shelter for every ticket purchased.
