Thanks to the Hoboken411 reader who suggested it, today we have a new category added to the site:
Hoboken Commuter Corner
Much like the Rant Corner and Rave Corner where pretty much anything goes, this section will be for general commuting and transportation issues in Hoboken.
Got stuck on the PATH? Had a horrific cab ride? Ferry capsized? This is the spot.
Anything from complaints, service interruptions, schedule changes, fare increases and other hot topics. So what is it today?

how has the 126 bus been in the morning – about 7:45/8am? haven’t taken the bus in a while so any info would be greatly appreciated – thanks!

Not that great, Ricky. I hopped on a 7:20ish bus this morning and it was empty. If I waited 10minutes longer, I’d either be waiting an additional 20minutes or would have my face buried in someone’s armpit/back/etc. 126 is a pain in the ass.

Is security getting beefed up at the PATH? Security theater certainly is.
Today I got “randomly” searched for my 14th time (yes, I’ve been counting) which I suppose isn’t so bad for eight years. But just last week I experienced my 13th search.
I almost want to ask them if they expect to find something in my bag “one of these days”.

LMAO. And I imagine a middle eastern looking man wearing head gear and carrying luggage is passed through for fear of racial profiling. What a joke.

Does anybody know if you can park in the Liberty State light rail park n ride overnight on the weekend if you are taking the light rail to Hoboken on Friday then going back to your car on Saturday or Sunday.
