Glove on Clam Broth House hand!

2/15/2008 Update:

Somebody blinked

Danny Tattoli and Michael Acciardi have apparently come to an agreement over the disputed Clam Broth House liquor license. Acciardi, who owns Lana Lounge and Teak, has apparently agreed to sell the license that had been tied to the old Clam Broth House to Tattoli, who wants to open a “family restaurant” in his new building. Word on the street was Acciardi wanted to operate the new Clam Broth House much same way he operated the old Clam Broth, in conjuction with Boo Boo’s and the Cadillac Bar. Tattoli didn’t want that, and insisted Acciardi sell him the liquor license.

No matter what happens with the liquor license, nobody will mistake the new “Clam Broth Corporate Center” for the original Clam Broth House, which thanks to years of neglect, is now nothing but a faint memory.

2/13/2008:

The pissing match between Tattoli and Acciardi continues ahead of tomorrow night’s meeting on the Clam Broth House liquor license.

Just watch and see which sign goes up on 3/1….[/quote]

Ah, you didn’t catch it… there are 366 days in 2008. But switching signs still doesn’t make them homophobic, just capitalists making cash on what would be a slow afternoon for them.

The Clam Broth House was, what it was back in the day. Now it’s just another restaurant in Hoboken competing for the same business as the rest.

Greedy and two faced…maybe, but not homophobic.

you didn’t hear? The Hoboken Construction Official determined that the hand is structurally deficient and has to be demolished. There are plans to erect and even grander and bolder hand on the roof of the W Hotel giving the middle finger.
