Since this earlier posting the German Bakery has opened. It is the real deal. A German friend visiting took home four pieces of cake he was so enamored.

Hi, I just moved to Hoboken this month and need to find a good bakery this weekend. From reading here, I already know to avoid Cake Boss and that Giorgio’s is a good option.

Are there any other bakeries in Hoboken that you can recommend? Are the supermarkets worth trying?

Giorgio’s is the real deal. I have always wanted to visit the original Carlos in Newark.

Giorgio’s all the way. Giorgio will treat you like family. You’ll love the cake and you won’t have to wait on a line around the block to pick it up. You also won’t have to pay “As seen on TV!” prices.
