Over Polar Vortex: Longing for spring in Hoboken (hurry!)

So the so-called “Polar Vortex” has invited itself to our area again, bringing tiresome cold-weather and bulky winter gear out of the closet. While we normally welcome the change in seasons (as it makes you appreciate the pleasant weather more rightfully so, I can say wholeheartedly I cannot wait until winter is over.

The shoddy plowing and unreasonably poor sidewalk conditions didn’t help an already brutal winter.

That said, we watched a time lapse video we made last summer again, and it gave us enough faith to remember that spring begins in just about three weeks. Maybe the snow that is expected for Monday will be the last of the significant snowfalls? I bet I’m not the only one with those sentiments!
